This is a little different kind of article, we will explore the history of communication and how it has evolved, the purpose of this article is to see the progress mankind has made, how they have made it, what are the lessons of the progress and how can we implement this learning in our daily life.


3500BC - 1450CE

Humanity has been figuring out ways of communication since the early 3500 BC, it started with cuneiform writing, which is one of Freindoldest forms of communication known to mankind. 1700 BC, the First alphabetic system is introduced. 1500 demonstrated the invention of hieroglyphics by the Egyptians, a complex system of pictorial writing.500 BC The first letter is sent by the Persian Queen Atossa. 1450 CE Johannes Gutenberg invents the printing press, enabling the mass production of books.


1876-1926

Alexander Graham Bell introduced the Telephone in 1876. 1920, the first radio program was broadcast in Michigan, Detroit. In 1926, television was demonstrated for the first time. In the meantime, telegram was also invented. Radio broadcasting became widespread in the early 20th century, followed by the emergence of television in the mid-20th century, transforming mass media and entertainment.

21st Century

The 21st century is called the tech boom, an era marked by the Proliferation of digital communication technologies, including smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices, enabling constant connectivity and access to information.

Rise of Social media

Rise of Social media and mobile phone evolution hand in handcontibated to the 21st century the epitome of the communication revolution. All of a sudden people could communicate without any delay. Communication became seamless and advanced. The 2000s led to the formation of one of the biggest social media companies in the world, First came Friendster, then in 2002 came LinkedIn, in 2003 came MySpace, 2004 came Facebook, which completely revolutionized the industry it was able to gather a massive customer base and lead the social media market even to this day, 2006 came another big company, Twitter which till now has become the medium of sending opinions by famous people all around the world, then came Snapchat which aided to the revolution and later was bought by Facebook along with Snapchat

Current

Currently, development is the way for creating web3, which when created will be another revolution, currently Facebook's reputation has been rather deteriorated along with many other communication and social media platforms over exploiting their power and invasion of privacy of people and are going through a hard time, On the bright side most of the people around the world are on social media and are communing with each other. 

The rise of social media has given rise to a different kind of market called the creator market, a new kind of market that is worth billions of dollars and has been supported by the government and the ordinary people, A new occupation was created which is rapidly growing based on virality 


The future

the future is all about Web3, new companies are coming left right and center and there will be a few companies who will be the successors for apps like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter some of these apps are BeReal, Masterdon, BlueSky, Signal, etc these companies will dominate in the future
